本單元以“西進運動”為話題,旨在通過單元教學(xué),使學(xué)生了解美國的西進運動及其所代表的美國人勇于開拓、不畏艱辛的西部精神。并能正確運用表示“不屈不撓”及“成功”類的交際用語,學(xué)習(xí)相關(guān)語法,同時擴大知識視野。文章通過介紹西方的文化歷史,激發(fā)學(xué)生主動參與、主動探究的求知欲。
1.1WARMINGUP是一份自測的問卷。通過自我打分,了解自我評估結(jié)果,引出本單元主要談?wù)摰脑掝}—perseveranceandsuccess,為下一步聽、說、讀、寫打下基礎(chǔ)。
