用法:neither在句中是副詞,意為“也不”,放在句首,表示前面否定的內(nèi)容也適用于另一個(gè)人或物,句子須采用部分倒裝。此時(shí)也可用nor替換neither使用。如:Youdidn’tseehim,andneitherdidI.你沒(méi)有看見(jiàn)他,我也沒(méi)有。
拓展:neither其他用法:(1)neither用做形容詞,表示“(兩者)都不”,置于單數(shù)名詞之前。如:Neitherchairiscomfortable.兩把椅子坐起來(lái)都不舒服。
(2)neither用做代詞,表示“兩者都不”。如:Neitherofmyparentsenjoysmusic.我父母都不喜歡音樂(lè)。

表示允許時(shí)用can,could,may,might表達(dá)。它們沒(méi)有時(shí)態(tài)上的差別,只是could比can,might比may語(yǔ)氣上要客氣。(用can或could表示“許可”,雖然很普通,但在正式、莊重的場(chǎng)合用may。)
