這是一首散文詩。散文詩是一種文學(xué)的體載,作為蘇聯(lián)無產(chǎn)階級文學(xué)的奠基者高爾基,為什么1901年3月要寫這樣的散文詩呢?
———高爾基寫這首詩是在1905年俄國第一次大革命前夜,當(dāng)時人民群眾的革命運動風(fēng)起云涌,沙皇反動政府加強(qiáng)了對人民的鎮(zhèn)壓,正是革命與反革命激烈搏斗的時候,高爾基當(dāng)時在比的堡親感受到了工人運動,學(xué)生運動的磅礴氣勢,目睹了沙荒政府鎮(zhèn)壓學(xué)生運動的殘暴罪行。他為了熱情歌頌無產(chǎn)階級革命先驅(qū),揭露沙皇反動政府。平擊機(jī)會主義者、資產(chǎn)階級自由派的丑惡嘴臉,就寫下了《海燕》這篇散文詩。
作者以海燕為題,一是醒目,可以象征無產(chǎn)階級革命先驅(qū)。
