①as有時還有“隨著……”的意思,如:

②由副詞there和here引導(dǎo)的倒裝句通常不用于人稱代詞即不說“Herecomeshe!”
而須說“Herehecomes!”但在對比情況下,人稱代詞則與連系動詞be構(gòu)成倒裝句,如:

客人很快就要來了,克萊爾叫托尼去另一個間房。
句中用到過去將來進(jìn)行時,由“would+be+動詞的現(xiàn)在分詞”構(gòu)成,表示在過去看來將來某一時間正在發(fā)生的動作。它常和表示過去將來的時間狀語連用,但上下文清楚時,時間狀語可省略。和將來進(jìn)行時一樣,它也常表計(jì)劃中的事,不表意愿或打算。它還有一個特點(diǎn),即常用在賓語從句(尤其是間接引語)中。
例如:

過去將來進(jìn)行時有時也可用于其他從句
中,如:IwouldpaytherestasIwouldbeleavingBeijing.(用在狀語從句中。)
也可用在獨(dú)立句中。
如:Thecarstarted.EllenGreenwouldbedrivingofftothecollege.
