Lookatthefollowingsentences,payingattentiontotheunderlinedpart.

Look!Thereisnothinghere.
Youarerequestedtogiveaperformance.
Youarecordially(誠摯地)invitedtoapartytobegivenattheTeachersClubat3p.m.Nov.23.
Thesongwascomposed(組成;寫作)byastudent.
Agoodtimewashadbyall.
一般現(xiàn)在時:am/is/are+given
ThefirstsectionofNewCollegeEnglishisdesignedforspeakingpracticeandisbasedonpicturesandtopics.
一般過去時:was/were+given
Thesecomputersweremadeinourowncountry.
一般將來時:will/shallbe+given
Shallwebeaskedtoattendtheopeningceremony?
Thenewswouldbesenttothesoldiersmotherassoonasitarrived.
現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時:am/is/arebeing+given
Treesarebeingplantedovertherebythem.
過去進(jìn)行時:was/werebeing+given
Thefeastwasbeingpreparedwhenthebirdsarrivedinthesky.
現(xiàn)在完成時:have/hasbeen+given
Swiftprogresshasalsobeenmadeincultureandeducation.
ThehugebridgehadbeendamagedbeforetheWorldWarII.
將來完成時:will/shallhavebeen+given
Thebookwillhavebeenpublishedbytheendofnextmonth.
Thisproblemcanbesolved.
What’sdonecannotbeundone.
GeorgemightbesenttoAmericabyhiscompanyinAugust.
Thisroomisgoingtobepaintednextweek.
Goaway!Iwanttobeleftalone.
Theydidn’tofferAnnthejob.
Annwasn’tofferedthejob.
2.在使役動詞have,make,get以及感官動詞see,watch,notice,hear,feel,observe等后面不定式作賓語補語時,在主動結(jié)構(gòu)中不定式to要省略,但變?yōu)楸粍咏Y(jié)構(gòu)時,要加to。
Theymakehercleanthefloor.Sheismadetocleanthefloorbythem.
3.It+be+過去分詞+that從句(=主語+be+過去分詞+todosth.)
Itissaidthattheboyhaspassedthenationalexam.
Theboyissaidtohavepassedthenationalexam.
4.動詞get代替be。
Therewasafightatthepub,butfortunatelynobodygot(=was)hurt.
get+done同be+done的區(qū)別:
Thedoggotrunoverbyacar.
cook,smell,taste,wash,write,shut,prove,sell,read,write
.Thedishtastesdelicious.
Thetheoryprovedrightatlast.
.Thebookissointerestingthatitsellswell.
Mycarneedsrepairing(=toberepaired).
beg,equal,fail,hold,possess,fit,become,contain,cost,have,lack,resemble(相似),suit等。
ThisnewEnglish-Chinesedictionarycostmetendollars.
Thewarwasbrokeout.
