譯文：趣事講完之后我們就開始制作南瓜燈，我得到霍特女士的幫助。首先她讓我用刀切開一個南瓜并將內(nèi)瓤清理干凈。南瓜真硬，里邊的瓜瓤粘糊糊的，清理完一個南瓜后我的手感覺累了。之后老師讓我用鉛筆在南瓜上畫個鬼臉，再用鋒利的刀把鬼臉的形狀刻出來。這項工作也不容易，因此我刻得又慢又仔細(xì)。我用了幾乎一個小時才刻完可愛的鬼臉南瓜燈。
