1.quickly
(1)副詞,“快地;迅速地”,著重指動作“迅速”地發(fā)生或完成,具有即刻行動,毫不耽擱的意思。修飾動詞或整個句子。其形容詞形式為quick,反義詞形式為slowly。
如:Pleasecomequickly.請快過來。
Hegetsupbefore7o’clockinthemorning,andquicklywasheshishandsandface.
他早上七點前起床,并迅速洗手和臉。
(2)與fast辨析
fast“快的(地)”,既可以作形容詞,又可作副詞,指動作、速度之快。如:

3.Therearetoomanycarsandbuses.
有太多的汽車和公共汽車。
(1)Therebe+某人/某物+某地,表示某事物或人的存在關(guān)系,譯為“某地有某人或某物”。There叫引導(dǎo)詞,在句中不充當(dāng)任何成分,譯成漢語時,也不必譯出,句中的主語是某人或某物,謂語動詞be要與主語的數(shù)一致。當(dāng)主語是由兩個或兩個以上的名詞充當(dāng)時,謂語動詞be要與它相鄰的那個名詞的數(shù)一致。如:
Thereisaschoolnearhere.這附近有一所學(xué)校。
Therearesomeboatsonthelake.湖上有一些船。

桌子上有一支鋼筆,兩本書和許多鉛筆。
(2)toomany和toomuch兩者都表示“太多”的意思,但toomany修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),toomuch修飾不可數(shù)名詞。too是副詞,意為“太,過分”,修飾many或much,用來加強語氣,表示程度,作狀語。如:
Therearetoomanypeopleonthestreet.街上的人太多。
Hedrinkstoomuchpop.他喝的汽水太多了。
Therearetoomanymistakesinhishomework.
他作業(yè)中的錯誤太多了。
4.HereIcome.
我來了。
該句是倒裝句,原來的語序應(yīng)該是Icomehere.在英語中,以Here或There開頭的句子一般用倒裝語序,若句子主語是名詞,則主謂構(gòu)成倒裝,稱為完全倒裝句,若句子主語是代詞,則主謂不倒裝,稱為不完全倒裝句。如:
Hereisyourcoat.這是你的上衣。
Theregoesthebell.鈴聲響了。
Therecomesthebus.汽車來了。
Hereheis.他在這兒。
5.laugh
(1)不及物動詞,意為“笑”“因……而發(fā)笑”,一般后面不加賓語。如:
FengGongandNiuQunmakeeveryonelaugh.
馮鞏和牛群能使每個人發(fā)笑。
Helaughsbestwholaughslast.
誰笑在最后,誰笑得最好。
構(gòu)成短語:laughsat嘲笑。如:
Don’tlaughatthepeopleintrouble.
不要嘲笑處于困境中的人。
Everyonelaughsattheoldman’smistake.每個人都嘲笑那個老人的錯誤。
(2)與smile辨析
laugh指一般的“發(fā)笑”或“出聲大笑”,它意味著不但有面部表情,而且還有動作和聲音,多指快樂、高興;也指“微笑”,不笑出聲音,懷好意,善意。如:
Sheneversmiles.她從沒有笑臉。
Wehearthegoodnewsandbegintolaugh.我們聽到這個好消息,都笑了。
6.Iseesomechildrenplaying.我看見一些孩子在玩耍。
see是感官動詞。seesomebodydoingsomething表示“看見某人正在做某事”,強調(diào)動作正在進行,分詞短語作賓語補足語。seesomebodydosomething表示“看見某人做了某事”。強調(diào)動作的全過程,已經(jīng)完成或經(jīng)常性的,省略to的動詞不定式短語作賓語補足語。類似的動詞還有hear,watch,notice(注意)等等。如:

我看到他們正在操場上踢足球。
Ioftenseethemplayfootballontheplayground
我經(jīng)??吹剿麄冊诓賵錾咸咦闱?。

7.front
(1)名詞,意為“前面,前部”,反義詞是back(后面,后部)。如:
Thedriversitsinfrontandthepassengerssitbehind.
司機坐在前面,乘客坐在后面。
Therearesometreesinfrontofthehouse.房前有幾棵樹。
注:與front相關(guān)的短語辨析:
atthefrontof指在某個物體本身或范圍之內(nèi)的前部,但是僅指一個點,意思是“在……前部”。如:
I’msittingatthefrontofthebus.我坐在公共汽車前部。
inthefrontof也只在某個物體本身或范圍之內(nèi)的前部,但范圍比atthefrontof要大,意思也是“在……前部”,有時候二者可以互換。如:
ThereisabigTVat/inthefrontofthelivingroom.
起居室里有一臺大電視機。
infrontof一般相對于物體的外部來說,指另外的東西在該物體的前面,意思是“在……前面”。如:
Thereisacarinfrontofthetruck.卡車前有一輛小汽車。
infront單獨使用,很籠統(tǒng)地表示某物某人“在前面”。如:
Thecarisinfront.小汽車在前面。
(2)形容詞,意為“前面的”,反義詞是back(后面的)。如:

9.Hebreakshistail!
他摔折了它的尾巴。
break作及物動詞,意為“弄壞,打壞”“折壞”,后接賓語。如:
Whobreaksthewindow?誰打破了窗戶?
Hebreaksthewindow.他把杯子打破了。
break作不及物動詞,意為“壞碎、壞了”或“(天氣)突變”。如:
Thecupbreaks.杯子壞了。
Daybreaks.天亮了。
broken用作形容詞,意為“弄壞了、破碎的”“斷了”。如:
Thecupisbroken.杯子碎了。(指破碎的狀態(tài))
Abrokenchairisontheground.一把破椅子在地上。
10.Becareful!
當(dāng)心,當(dāng)心!
此句為祈使句,用以引起別人的注意。同義詞組有l(wèi)ookout“當(dāng)心,小心,留神”或takecare“注意,小心”。如:
Becareful!Acariscoming!當(dāng)心,車來了。
Becareful!Younearlyhitthatchild!小心,你差一點撞到那個小孩!
11.Apostcardhasapictureonit.
明信片上有張圖片。
(1)動詞have有兩種形式,即have和has,意為“有”,表示狀態(tài),而不表示動作,因此不能用于現(xiàn)在進行時。如:
Ihaveabook.我有一本書。
Aclockhastwohands.鐘有兩個指針。
Wehavetwonewstudents.我們有兩名新來的同學(xué)。
have,has的否定形式要借助助動詞do和does,have前面用don’t,has前面用doesn’t,并把has還原為have,如:
Wedon’thavelunchatschool.我們不在學(xué)校吃午飯。
Hedoesn’thaveanymoney.他沒有錢。
have和has的一般疑問句形式是在句首加助動詞Do或Does.第三人稱單數(shù)前用了Does后,謂語動詞has要還原為have.如:

Yes,Ido./No,Idon’t.是的,我有。/不,我沒有。
Doeshe/shehaveanypostcards?他/她有明信片嗎?

have/has結(jié)構(gòu)表示“某人擁有某物/某人或某物屬于某人”,主語是人,其結(jié)構(gòu)為:主語+have/has+賓語;而Therebe結(jié)構(gòu)表示“某處有(存在)某人或某物”,其結(jié)構(gòu)為:Therebe(am,is,are)+名詞+地點狀語,如:
IhaveaTVset.我有一臺電視機。
There’saTVsetonthetable.桌上有臺電視機。
