一、教學內容及設計思路

本課時選擇的是牛津英語9AUnit4的閱讀，主要是圍繞本單元的中心任務“電視節(jié)目”展開的，它涉及了體育,音樂,恐怖片和動物類節(jié)目.要求學生理解與所涉及的電視節(jié)目有關的詞.讓所有學生都能參與話題討論,都能講出自己最喜歡的電視節(jié)目,也可以通過討論對電視節(jié)目的喜好學習談論不同的觀點。在教學時采取了PWA(pre-reading,while-reading,after-reading)模式講解的,在while-reading中采用“總分總”的模式，先聽錄音通讀課文，把握文章大概；然后將全文劃分成幾個部分，圍繞各部分的內容設計具體的任務，使內容細化；最后引出學生之間的互動節(jié)目，由淺入深，透過現象討論問題，發(fā)散學生思維，延伸教學內容，發(fā)展學生綜合英語語言能力。
