一、教學目標
在本節(jié)課結束時，學生將能夠：
知識與能力：
聽懂提出邀請及應答邀請的會話，能了解使用情態(tài)動詞can來表達邀請，并能有禮貌地發(fā)出邀請，學會對邀請進行恰當的答復或拒絕。
過程與方法：
采用圖片導入教授新的詞匯和句型，利用Pairwork問答式的口語交際活動或游戲等小組活動，進行“提出邀請、接受邀請和拒絕邀請”的課堂教學和練習。采用小組合作自主學習探究、Classifying,Contrasting和Role—playing的學習策略等來展開課堂教學。
情感態(tài)度與價值觀：
學會人際交往的基本常識，學會有禮貌地邀請別人以及回答別人的邀請的方式。理解“義務”涵義，學會承擔自己應盡的義務，能夠在班級以及社會生活中擔當一定的責任。理解人與人之間的真情，學會珍惜朋友之間、師生之間的友情。

教學重點：
1.運用所學提出邀請，接受邀請和拒絕邀請。
2.正確使用can,might,haveto,must等情態(tài)動詞。

三、教學策略
語音教學——讓學生進行模仿操練；詞匯教學——采用圖片介紹或演示對比的方式進行教學，讓學生在情境中操練、理解含義，并學會運用；口語教學——采取pairwork問答式的口語交際活動或小組活動互相操練完成任務；聽力教學——采取選擇配對和完成表格信息的方式；寫作教學——以補全句子、回答問題、寫簡單的短文為主；語法教學——總結規(guī)律、抓住特征、模仿操練。
四、教學過程
Step1:Lead-in
利用PPT向學生展示一些人們活動的圖片，復習有關周末活動的詞匯短語。教師通過提問Whatdoyouhavetodoonweekdays/weekends，讓學生盡可能多地說出有關活動的詞匯短語。再通過展示與課文重點詞匯短語相關聯(lián)的圖片，引導學生進行詞匯學習。
通過復習Whatdopeopleusuallydoonweekends引入新課，貼近生活，創(chuàng)設熟悉的生活環(huán)境。用師生連鎖問答的形式，活躍課堂氣氛，讓盡可能多的學生動起來，迅速調整到上課的狀態(tài)中來。在復習所學詞匯的同時，教師通過提問Whatdoyouhavetodoonweekdays/weekends，為下一步新詞匯的呈現做鋪墊。教師再利用多媒體逐步呈現P651a，將課文中重點詞匯短語和圖片進行搭配。

Pre-listening：利用多媒體呈現P65書上大圖，引導學生猜測WhoisTim/Kay/Anna/Wilson,Whocancometotheparty，然后讓學生看圖中的兩個答語，思考接受邀請和拒絕邀請該怎么說。

通過學生之間小組互動，引導學生學以致用，讓學生根據自身的生活實際進行問答，鞏固內化目標語言。學生在活動與交流中產生個性化的體驗，真正在學習實踐中學會學習，通過自主學習，成為課堂的主人，成為能夠對自己學習負責的人。
Step4：Listening
首先要求學生觀察P66，2a中的四幅圖，閱讀相關的五個句子，為聽力活動做準備。然后分四步進行聽力訓練。
1st-listening:要求學生完成P66，2a，聽錄音并圈出can或can’t。
2nd-listening:要求學生聽錄音，在表格中勾出下列回答都是誰說的。

4th-listening:要求學生根據錄音完成P66，2b表格，列出2a中所不能參加聚會的人名，并寫出原因。此項任務的難點是快速記錄原因，學生要寫完整的句子較困難，所以教師可以引導學生借此機會訓練做聽力筆記時抓關鍵詞或重點短語的速記策略。
新英語課程考核加大了聽力部分內容，新的教材也加深了聽力任務的難度。為了解決學生實際聽力水平和教材的差距，解決學生一下子夠不著的問題，在此環(huán)節(jié)，教師應逐步搭設聽力梯度訓練的平臺，由易到難呈現螺旋式上升的相關活動，使學生在完成書上P66，2b的任務時，不會感到很吃力，進而在教師的逐步引領下提升自己的語用能力。
Step5：Pairwork
P66，2c，首先讓學生看2b表格中的原因，再寫出一些來。然后，學生A邀請自己的同伴做些事情，學生B說不能去并說明原因。
學生兩兩對話，即鞏固了所學的新的目標語言，又能根據自身實力拓展話題，充分體現了合作互動式學習模式和在“用中學”的學習理念，而學習的過程是一種質的變化，一種主動建構的過程，并非被動的刺激反應模式。
Step6：Role-play
P66，2d，首先要求學生閱讀對話回答問題，然后要求學生分角色表演對話。

本環(huán)節(jié)既是對前面所學的主要語言知識的集中呈現，又是一個完整的口語對話范例，同時又對學生進行閱讀選取信息的訓練。教師先以問題導入對話語境，然后引導學生在語境中進行相對綜合的語言輸出，還可進一步根據學生的實際水平拓展對話的內容和句式，進行開放的、創(chuàng)造性的、貼近實際生活的對話交流，為隨后的GrammarFocus的教學打下基礎。
Step7：Sum-up
組織學生對如何有禮貌地發(fā)出邀請，接受邀請或拒絕邀請進行小結。
