Iwasworkingforanot-for-profitorganizationinNewYorkCityforaboutayearwhenmysister,wholivesinCalifornia,calledtotellmethatthesecretaryatherbestfriendsjobwasleavingthecompanyandshewantedmetosubmitmyresume.ItoldherthatIwasfinewhereIwasandourorganizationshouldreceivethefederalfundingweappliedfor,whichwouldallowmetoworkforasalarycomparedtothestipendIwasgettingatthetime.Unbeknownsttome,mysistersubmittedmyresumeanywayandafewdayslaterIwasofferedthepositionoverthephone.IguessmysistersexcitementwascontagiousbecauseIendedupacceptingthepositionandgavemynoticeattheorganization.IstartedmynewjobonMay5,2003,whichequalsto5/5/5.WhenIstartedmynewjob,Ifoundoutthatmytwobossesbothsharedmineandmyfathersbirthday;October23andDecember23.

1)21---99先說“幾十”，再說“幾”中間加連字號：

2）101----999:先說“幾百”，再加and,再加末兩位數(shù)（或末位數(shù)）

3）1，000以上的數(shù)：先從后向前數(shù)，每三位數(shù)加一“，”，第一個“，”號前為thousand,第二個“，”號前為million,第三個“，”號前為billion,（美式）或thousandmillion(英式)，然后一節(jié)一節(jié)表式

4）序數(shù)詞一般以與之相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞加詞尾th構(gòu)成，有特別的地方：

B:以-ty結(jié)尾的詞，要先變y為I，再加-eth

e.g.:twenty—twentiethforty—fortieth

C:以one,two,three,five,eight,nine收尾的多位數(shù)詞要照第一條變

D:序數(shù)詞主要用作定語，前面一般要加定冠詞（或物主代詞）

5)分數(shù)詞：是以基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞合成的，基數(shù)詞代表分子序數(shù)詞代表分母，除了分子是“1”的情況外，序數(shù)詞都要用復(fù)數(shù)。

一、章節(jié)分析

（一）綜述

本章節(jié)的目的是使學(xué)生繼續(xù)熟悉和強化的對日?；顒雍统Ｒ?guī)行為的描述。

本課設(shè)計了三個任務(wù)來達到這一目標：

1、通過表格所提供的線索，描述的一天生活。注意某些詞匯的含義：correctpaper，gojogging，preparelessons，givelessons。

2、制定暑假中的一天計劃。

3、采訪一位身邊的人，收集從事某種職業(yè)的人日常工作情況。學(xué)生應(yīng)針對只要特點，事先設(shè)計調(diào)查問卷，事后寫好采訪報告，在全班面前匯報。

（二）教學(xué)方法

采用合作學(xué)習(xí)法，根據(jù)任務(wù)不同，可以做pairwork，也可以是小組活動，共同完成一項任務(wù)。

利用一般現(xiàn)在時表達日常習(xí)慣和行為。

Pre-task1.分解表格所提供的信息，并設(shè)計問題，請學(xué)生做出完整回答。目的在于確保每位學(xué)生都能正確使用一般現(xiàn)在時。

2.確定學(xué)生能正確回答每個問題后，要求他們口頭表達全文。網(wǎng)站

While-task要求學(xué)生為即將到來的暑假設(shè)計一份作息時間表。要求學(xué)生盡量具體、詳盡，真實且可操作。要求體現(xiàn)出一天中的每個時段的活動安排。

Post-task這是課文的拓展部分。學(xué)生可根據(jù)自己的實際情況，選擇不同職業(yè)的人進行采訪，并最終在全班面前匯報。
