一、什么情況下使用一般過去時?

二、規(guī)則動詞過去式的構(gòu)成方法
1一般的謂語動詞+edwalk—walked
2以不發(fā)音的e結(jié)尾的動詞+dlive—lived
3以輔音字母+y結(jié)尾的動詞變y為iedcry—cried
4以一個元音字母+一個輔音字母結(jié)尾的短動詞雙寫末尾的輔音字母+edstop—stopped
三、不規(guī)則動詞的過去式不是加ed構(gòu)成的,需要我們記住它們。不規(guī)則動詞的過去式歸納起來有這樣幾種類型(見下表):
1與原形一樣,沒有變化cost-costput-put
2元音有變化write-wroteknow-knew
3輔音有變化make-madespend-spent
4元音和輔音都有變化leave-leftteach-taught
5其他am/is-was
