形容詞的用法與級別
1)形容詞的作用
形容詞在句子中一般充當(dāng)表語、定語和賓語補(bǔ)足語,如:
Ourschoollooksverybeautiful.(表語)
Therearefiftystudentsinourclass,soweneedabigclassroom.(定語)
Doingmorningexercisescanmakeushealthy.(賓語補(bǔ)足語)
2)形容詞的級別
形容詞有三種級別,即原級、比較級和最高級。當(dāng)討論的對象是一個時(shí)應(yīng)使用原級,當(dāng)討論的對象是兩個時(shí)應(yīng)使用比較級,當(dāng)討論的對象在三個或更多時(shí)應(yīng)使用最高級。
在形容詞原級后面加上er就成為比較級,在原級后加上est就成為最高級。一般的單音節(jié)形容詞直接加er或est,詞尾是不發(fā)音字母e的只加r或st,重讀閉音節(jié)應(yīng)雙寫詞尾輔音字母再加er或est,如:
long—longer—longest,
nice—nicer—nicest,
big—bigger—biggest。
以輔音字母加y為結(jié)尾的雙音節(jié)形容詞應(yīng)將y改為i再加上er或est,如:
early—earlier—earliest,
dirty—dirtier—dirtiest,
busy—busier—busiest。
多音節(jié)的形容詞比較級應(yīng)在前面加上more,最高級應(yīng)在前面加上most,如:
important—moreimportant—mostimportant,
difficult—moredifficult—mostdifficult。
有些特殊的形容詞有自己的變化規(guī)律,如:
good/well—better—best,bad/badly—worse—worst,
many/much—more—most,little—less—least,
far—farther/further—farthest/furthest。
形容詞的比較級句型應(yīng)使用連詞than或or,如:
TheweatherinShanghaiishotterthanthatinBeijing.
上海的天氣比北京的天氣熱.

英語和數(shù)學(xué),哪個學(xué)科更重要?
形容詞的最高級前應(yīng)加上定冠詞the,句型中應(yīng)給出比較范圍,如:

Thethirdtruckcarriesthemostbooksofall.
第三輛卡車在所有的卡車中載書最多.
兩個人或物比較時(shí),如果只說明兩者相同或不同,則可使用as...as...句型,否定句為notas(so)...as...句型,這里形容詞仍使用原級,如:

格林先生和布朗先生年齡一樣大.
Mr.Greenisnotas(so)oldasMr.Brown.
格林先生和布朗先生的年齡不一樣大.

1.雙方比較,表示一方超過另一方時(shí),用“比較級+than”結(jié)構(gòu)表示,意為“比……”。如:Thisbikeisbetterthanthatone.這輛自行車比那輛好。
2.表示一方不如另一方時(shí),用“l(fā)ess+原級+than”結(jié)構(gòu)表示,意為“……不如……”。如:Thisroomislessbeautifulthanthatone.這個房間不如那個房間漂亮。
3.表示一方超過另一方的程度或數(shù)量時(shí),可在比較級前加表示程度的狀語。如:even,alot,abit,alittle,still,much,far,yet,byfar等。如:Theweatherisevenworsethanyesterday.天氣比昨天更糟糕了。新課標(biāo)第一網(wǎng)
