(一)語法:一般過去時(shí)
1.在確定的過去時(shí)間里所發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的狀態(tài)或表示在過去一段時(shí)間內(nèi),經(jīng)常性或習(xí)慣性的動(dòng)作,就必須用到一般過去時(shí)態(tài)的謂語動(dòng)詞來表示,時(shí)間狀語有:yesterday,lastweek,anhourago,theotherday,in1982等。
例如:

2.一般過去時(shí)由動(dòng)詞的過去式表示,動(dòng)詞be有was,were兩個(gè)過去式,was用于第一、三人稱單數(shù),were用于其他情況。

否定句:主語+be動(dòng)詞的一般過去時(shí)(was/were)+not
