二者都可作表語,意為“確信的”,“對……有把握的”,“肯定的”等。多數(shù)情況下二者可以換用,但有時也有差異。
(1)sure的主語通常為指人的詞;certain的主語既可以是指人的詞,也可以是指事物的詞。
(2)在祈使句中要用sure。在Itiscertainthat...結(jié)構(gòu)中certain不能換作sure。
