1.學(xué)好本單元知識的關(guān)鍵是什么?
認真復(fù)習(xí)以前學(xué)過的現(xiàn)在完成時,通過舊知識引出新知識,注意二者的聯(lián)系和區(qū)別:
過去完成時的基本用法與現(xiàn)在完成時基本相似,所不同的是:現(xiàn)在完成時的動作在現(xiàn)在以前完成,過去完成時的動作在過去某一時間以前完成,那么,使用過去完成時就非先有這樣一個過去某一時間不可。例如:
Ihaddonemyhomeworkbeforelunch..我在午飯前把作業(yè)做完了。
句中的lunch即是過去某一時間,而過去完成時haddone這一動作就是在lunch之前完成的。如果只說Ihaddonemyhomework.聽者就會覺得難以理解。由此可見,過去完成時可以說是一個相對的時態(tài),它不能離開過去時間而獨立存在。再如:
BytheendofthatyearWendyhadcollectedmorethanathousandforeignstamps.
到那年年底,溫迪已收集了一千多張外國郵票。
但過去某一時間也可以暗含在上下文中而不表示出來。例如:
Theroadswerefullofpeople.Wehadntforeseenthat.

1.怎樣理解so...that和sothat結(jié)構(gòu)?
(1)so...that結(jié)構(gòu)中,that引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句。例如:
Shewassotiredthatshefell.她累得倒下了。(她是如此的疲勞以致于倒下了)
(2)sothat既可引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句,也可引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句。例如:
Istoppedsothatyoucouldcatchup.我停下來以便你能趕上。(目的)
Nothingmorewasheardofhim,sothatpeoplethoughthewasdead.
未再聽到他的消息,因此人們以為他死了。(結(jié)果)
2.“Wouldyoulikemetolookintheback?”一句中would是什么用法?
是wouldlikesb.todo結(jié)構(gòu),意為“想要某人做某事”。例如:
Iwouldlikeyoutohelpme.我想要你幫助我。
另外,could和would都可用來表示非常禮貌的委婉的請求。例如:
Couldyouanswermyquestion?你能回答我的問題嗎?
Wouldyoupleasedomeafavor?請幫個忙,好嗎?
注can和will也可用于上述句子,但語氣沒有could和would那么委婉,因此,疑問句中常用could代替can,would代替will,以表示禮貌的請求。
