一、單元教材分析
本單元圍繞“談論自己所喜歡的學科”這一話題，展開形式多樣的聽、說、讀、寫學習活動。主要學習一周中星期一到星期天的表達方式；掌握學科的表達；學習用because和表示品質(zhì)的形容詞表示理由；學習what，why，who引導的特殊疑問句。通過本單元的學習使學生學會談論自己喜好的學科或自己喜好的其它事情并給出理由；學會說出一周的七天；學會合理地安排自己的作息時間。
二、單元學情分析
本單元的主題是“談論自己所喜歡的學科”，主要是學習學科的表達、表示品質(zhì)的形容詞、一周中星期一到星期天的表達方式；學習用because表示理由。在詢問“對方所喜歡的學科和人物”、“星期幾”時，要使用以前所學過的What、Who疑問句，再學習“詢問理由”所用的Why疑問句。教師可引導學生通過比較、對照的方法掌握所學疑問句的結(jié)構(gòu)和使用以及回答。
三、單元教學建議
本單元采用自主學習、小組合作探究、Imitatingandrepeating，Practicing，Comparing和Roleplaying的學習策略，利用教學圖片、幻燈片或制作多媒體課件來展開課堂Pairwork問答式的口語交際活動或調(diào)查活動，談論各自所喜歡的學科或其它的事情并給出理由。本單元的教學法建議：語音教學：模仿操練；詞匯教學：演示講解、情景操練、反復使用；口語教學：互相操練、對話練習、交際活動；閱讀教學：回答問題和填空練習；聽力教學：聽音選詞、寫詞和整理、完成對話；寫作教學：補全對話、模仿寫作；語法教學：總結(jié)規(guī)律、比較異同、模仿操練。

教師設計各種學生身邊的問題,目的是讓學生復習學科名詞和上一課時的知識點。

這次的chant可以用音樂的節(jié)拍來進行。

Chant和做游戲是對Grammarfocus知識點的展示和綜合鞏固。（給學生A看事先準備好的小紙條，上面寫比如Mary—math---interesting由A學生發(fā)問：What’sMary’s
favoritesubject?其他學生猜問Is…h(huán)erfavoritesubject?或Isherfavoritesubject…?,A答用yes或no回答。猜對后，A再問Whydoesshelikemath?其他學生猜問Becauseitis…?A答yes或no直到猜對答案為止。）在游戲中復習學科單詞和描寫學科的形容詞，并且復習her,his等形容詞性物主代詞。

在教師的引導下，學生由兩人對話過渡到三人一組的鏈式操練,然后到結(jié)束的時候教師會提問一些同學的favoritesubject及teacher的情況，促使全體學生在練的過程中集中注意力。

給學生一分鐘時間準備
讓學生以對話的形式來訂正答案。
最后讓學生以第三人稱來說同伴的情況,培養(yǎng)說簡短的語篇的能力。

為了給學生更多的機會重復使用形容詞，可適當增加表格欄目內(nèi)容

在學生調(diào)查后，讓一兩個學生來做簡短的報告，其中可以適時地穿插問其他學生有關(guān)報告的內(nèi)容。
在最后一個學生報告完畢后,通過問他一個問題來引出同學談論喜歡的東西，如：food,color,sports,songs,movies…。學生兩人一組相互問答。先讓三到四對同學表演對話，最后讓個別同學以語篇的形式說出自己和同伴的最喜愛的東西。

通過調(diào)查完成表格，讓兩學生談論父母親的喜好，其他學生聽，并做報告。這一步培養(yǎng)學生聽說寫的綜合能力。

如果有學生不知道父母的喜好，及時進行情感的教育。
