名詞專項復習:
名詞有可數(shù)與不可數(shù)之分,有數(shù)和所有格的變化,在句中可以作主語、賓語、賓語補足語、表語、同位語等。
1.可數(shù)名詞與不可數(shù)名詞
很多情況下,我們可以依靠常識(即用數(shù)數(shù)的辦法)來判斷英語名詞是否可數(shù)。比如,book,table都是可數(shù)名詞而water是不可數(shù)名詞。一般來說,在英語中物質(zhì)名詞和抽象名詞都是不可數(shù)名詞,如flour,rice,beauty,pleasure,money等。
學習名詞必須區(qū)分其是否可數(shù)。只有可數(shù)名詞前才可以使用數(shù)詞和不定冠詞。值得注意的是,有時同一個單詞所指不同,其數(shù)的概念也就不同。例如,paper作“紙”解時為不可數(shù)名詞,表示“報紙”和“試卷”時是可數(shù)名詞;fish指“魚肉”時是不可數(shù)名詞,表示“魚”時是可數(shù)名詞,只不過通常是單復數(shù)同形;coffee做“咖啡”解時是不可數(shù)名詞,表示“一杯咖啡”時是可數(shù)名詞。
2.名詞的數(shù)
對于可數(shù)名詞數(shù)的變化,一要掌握規(guī)則變化,即名詞后面加-s或者-es的情況;二要掌握不規(guī)則變化,包括man-men,woman-women,foot-feet,tooth-teeth,mouse-mice,child-children等;三要掌握單復數(shù)同形的單詞,如sheep等。除此之外,還應(yīng)注意以下幾點:
1)在一般情況下,復合名詞的單復數(shù)形式體現(xiàn)在最后一個名詞上,如apencilbox-pencilboxes,agirlstudent-girlstudents。但是如果是由man或woman構(gòu)成的復合名詞,如amandoctor,awomanteacher,其復數(shù)形式則為mendoctors,womenteachers。
2)有些名詞往往以復數(shù)形式出現(xiàn),如trousers,glasses(眼鏡),在表示數(shù)量時需要借助量詞,如apairoftrousers,threepairsoftrousers。
3)有些名詞表示復數(shù)概念,往往作為一個整體看待,如police,people。這些單詞沒有復數(shù)形式。但是其后面的謂語動詞卻多為復數(shù)形式。例如:Thepolicehavecaughtthethief.Manypeoplehaveseenthefilm.如果要表達單個數(shù)量只能換用其他單詞。例如:“一名警察”是apoliceman/policeman,“一個人”可以是aperson,aman,awoman等。不過要注意,people作“民族,種族”解時,是可數(shù)名詞,復數(shù)形式是peoples。
3.名詞的所有格
名詞的所有格一般采用名詞后加’s的形式,如achild’sdream,someone’sbag;以-s結(jié)尾的復數(shù)名詞的所有格直接加’即可,如theboys’schoolbags。所有格表示的是所屬關(guān)系,采用’s結(jié)構(gòu)的多為有生命的名詞。如果是無生命的名詞,多采用“of+名詞”的方式表達。例如:
thewindowofthehouse房子的窗戶
theendoftheyear年底
thegateofourschool我們學校的大門
注意,afriendofmyfather’s與myfather’sfriend的含義不同,前者含有“我父親有不止一個朋友”的意思,而后者沒有這一含義。
4.名詞的句法功能
名詞的句法功能指名詞可以充當?shù)木渥映煞郑R姷挠校?/p>
1)主語
Theflighttakesaboutthirteenhours.航程需要大約13個小時。
MrWangteachesusEnglish.王老師教我們英語。
2)賓語
ManypeoplewerehelpingtheoldmanwhenIpassed.
我路過的時候,許多人在幫助這位老人。

最近他對國際象棋產(chǎn)生了很大的興趣。
3)賓語補足語

4)表語

名詞還可以用作同位語、呼語等。如:
MrWangmyneighbour,hasboughtanewcar.我的鄰居王先生買了輛新車。(myneighbour是MrWang的同位語)

1.基數(shù)詞與序數(shù)詞
注意基數(shù)詞與序數(shù)詞的不同寫法,尤其要注意以下幾組:
one-first;two-second;three-third
four-fourth;fourteen-fourteenth;forty-fortieth
five-fifth;eight-eighth;nine-ninth;twelve-twelfth
2.數(shù)詞的用法
英語中數(shù)詞可以在句子作定語、主語、賓語、狀語等。
1)作定語

2)作主語

hundred,thousand,million與數(shù)詞連用時通常不帶復數(shù)詞尾-s,但若用于表示數(shù)百、數(shù)千、數(shù)百萬這樣的泛詞概念時,則用復數(shù)。

冠詞專項復習:
英語中的冠詞有三種,一種是定冠詞the,另一種是不定冠詞a/an,還有一種是零冠詞。
一、不定冠詞的用法:
an,a是不定冠詞,僅用在單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前面,表示“一”的意義,但不強調(diào)數(shù)目。a用在以輔音(指輔音音素)開頭的詞前,an用在以元音(指元素音素)
開頭的詞前,如:aboy,anhour,auniversity,anelephant。
1.表示人或事物的某一類。

2.表示某一類人或事物中的任何一個。

3.泛指某人或某物但不具體說明何人何物。

副詞一般用作狀語,修飾動詞、形容詞、副詞以及全句,表示程度、方式等。例如:

3.形容詞與副詞的比較級和最高級
就形容詞、副詞的比較級和最高級而言,一是要掌握比較級和最高級的構(gòu)成,二是要掌握比較級句型。
1)比較級的句型
(1)比較級+than,表示“比…更…”
e.g.Healthismoreimportantthanwealth.健康比財富更重要。
HegotupearlierthanIdidthismorning.今天早上他起得比我早。
(2)比較級+and+比較級,表示“越來越……”。
