一、準備充分,備課認真
一堂精彩流暢的英語課需要教師的精心準備和充分備課。詹老師對教材做了通透的專研和了解,課堂內容豐富,容量較大。從信息的收集、過程的安排、問題的設置、對話的編制、各環(huán)節(jié)之間的啟承轉合中無不透出教師備課的精心和細心,為課堂的順利實施打下良好的基礎。
二、目標明確,符合實際
明確具體的教學目標是保證課堂高效率的重中之重。課堂過程中可以看出詹老師本節(jié)課的教學目標較具體:1.學習如何禮貌地向他人提出建議、要求及如何表示歉意;2.培養(yǎng)學生的禮貌行為,了解英語國家中向他人提出要求及道歉的方式;并能在生活中運用;3.在對話中注重養(yǎng)成樂于幫助他人,熱愛勞動的良好品質。難度適中,符合學生接受水平,讓學生在知識能力上得到發(fā)展,認知和情感也同步和諧發(fā)展。
三、巧設話題,自然導入
詹老師用經常發(fā)生在學生身邊的事,非常貼近學生生活實際的對話導入課文。從談論天氣到打籃球,教室里不能打籃球的原因到老師會怎么說,非常自然地引出本節(jié)課重點句型。從教學內容和學生實際的結合點去巧妙生成話題,簡潔明了,既拉近了師生間的距離,又點燃了學生說英語的愿望,激發(fā)了他們的學習興趣,氣氛熱烈。
四、教學過程,由易到難
課堂設計從句子呈現(xiàn)---聽力理解---句子配對(問答小對話)---游戲(根據指令做事)---自編對話,由淺入深,層層遞進。這個過程中穿插了個體、兩人、多人間的活動;有情景創(chuàng)設,學生的競賽活動,聽讀活動。學生有一個input—intake—output的學習過程,符合聽說課的要求。
五、教材文本,充分利用
教材是多方專家根據新《課程標準》的要求組織編寫的,是課程標準最主要的載體。詹老師在具體處理教材的過程中,充分利用教材,基本按教材的編排體系授課,并沒有對教材內容作很多的增加、刪減、整合或過多的自由發(fā)揮和加深難度,樸實無華。根據學校、教師、學生等具體情況用好教材,對學生進行聽說讀寫訓練,符合實事求是原則。
六、素質良好,調控課堂
詹老師教態(tài)自然,親切和藹,娓娓道來;語音語調正確流暢,給人以美的享受;媒體制作精良、實用,起到了教學的輔助作用;在詹老師的引導下,學生積極踴躍,體驗英語,快樂學習。
教學是一門充滿遺憾的藝術,詹老師的課也帶給我們一些思考
一、提高教學目標的達成度
本節(jié)課語言目標是Makerequestsandapologize。但課堂中以句型Wouldyouminddoing/notdoing為主線,對在各種情景下的肯定或否定回答匆匆?guī)н^,難點未有效突破,操練鋪墊不夠,導致學生在進行apologize的語言輸出時只會說Sorry,I’lldoitrightaway.且在很多場合下用錯。學生的能力發(fā)展受到限制。
二、創(chuàng)設情景的真實性和語言的得體性
導入后的教學過程中,教師設計了任務活動和情景對話,追求情境教學的生活化,但任務中的很多內容不符合課堂中的學生實際,也不符合英語國家的生活習慣,只是起到了練習語言結構的作用,形式和意義沒有很好地相結合,沒有實現(xiàn)學生間的真正交際。
三、更好地體現(xiàn)教師的課堂評價作用
有效的課堂評價能讓學生品嘗成功的愉悅,增強學習信心,發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的不足,明確努力的方向。但詹老師對學生在課堂中的活動缺乏激勵性的評價語;對學生在交流過程中重復出現(xiàn)的語言錯誤沒有及時地指出和糾正;對活動的結果也沒有一個客觀的評價。缺少診斷、激勵作用。
本次“攜手行動”使許多在偏遠農村任教的教師有了展示自我,互相學習的機會,明確了努力的方向。教學有法,教無定法,貴在得法。只要我們理念先進,行為跟進,定能取得課堂教學的有效和高效。

今天上午聽了Unit7Wouldyoumindturningdownthemusic?(SectionAPeriod1)一課。在這里談談自己對該課的一些想法。
我們本次“攜手行動”的主題是“如何有效地開展教學”。在講到課堂教學的有效性時,我想我們首先應該把目光投向今天課堂中的主體——全體學生。因為我們教學的根本宗旨是使大部分學生甚至是全體學生綜合使用英語,同時讓他們的個性和能力得到發(fā)展。我們大家可以看到在本堂聽說課中,學生對老師的提問和布置的任務始終保持著較高的熱情,師生情感達到雙向和諧交流。學生的聽說能力在原有的基礎上得到了一定的發(fā)展——大部分學生學會了如何禮貌地向別人提出請求Wouldyoumindcleaningtheclassroom?并根據實際情況作出應答OK.I’lldoitinaminute.等,且學生的口語非常流暢。學生的參與面廣,學生的回答次數達70次以上;學生有充分的活動時間,有25分鐘以上。學生在本堂課中學得十分輕松、愉快。但是我們的學生的口語已具備流暢性的時候,我們教師是否應該更關注學生口語的準確性。在本堂課中學生表達的時候,在發(fā)音和語言結構上犯了較多的錯誤,而詹老師卻沒能適時糾正引導,而導致學生對自己表達的準確性缺乏關注。
本堂課,詹老師能根據課標、教材和學生實際來確立本課的教學目標。詹老師通過學生最熟悉的學校生活(schoolrules)和日常生活(neighborhood)入手創(chuàng)設情境,不斷啟發(fā)、引導學生(Doyouwanttoliveintheneighborhood?Whynot?Whatwillyousayifyoulivehere?...)。學生通過一定量的聽的輸入(10分鐘)和靈活多樣的師生互動、生生互動鞏固了本課的重點。如果詹老師能把本課的重點加以板書,相信學生口語表達的準確性會有所提高。另外,詹老師對Wouldyouminddoingsomething?含有抱怨情緒沒進行擴展,學生對Wouldyouminddoingsomething?只理解成表示請求,導致回答區(qū)分不開。
從本課的教學程序上看,體現(xiàn)了一個“清”字(Lead-in—Presentation—Drill—Practice—Consolidation)。各環(huán)節(jié)緊密相連,過度自然。尤其是本課的導入能從學生的校園生活入手,符合學生的生活經歷和認知水平,讓學生有話可說。課堂中任務的設置緊緊圍繞教學目標開展,由易到難、層層深入:從listening---askandanswer---askyourpartnertodosomechorce---asksomeonetodosomething---trytobeapolitestudent。詹老師把學生從生活帶進課本再帶到生活。這說明面對新課程,我們老師不再只是教材忠實的執(zhí)行者,而成為了教材的重構者。但詹老師對課堂最后的conversation的選材不夠仔細,使學生不能較好地完成任務。
因此,我們在追求有效開展教學的時候,我們不能忽視了課堂的主導—教師。通過本堂課,我們可以看到詹老師自身的學科專業(yè)素養(yǎng)高,教態(tài)自然大方,非常有親和力。本堂課不僅學生學得高興,聽課的老師們也聽得輕松愉快。
兩點建議:1.對于農村學生來說在發(fā)展他們學習能力的同時不應忽視對英語語言知識和技能掌握。如果本堂課,詹老師讓學生把基礎知識Wouldyouminddoingsomething?及其回答學得扎實一點,那么對后面任務的落實效果可能會更好。2.在課堂中,教師不只是引導者,同時也擔負著參與者、評價者等多重角色。在本堂課中,詹老師如果能多一些師生的多向思維碰撞和交流,并及時對學生的表現(xiàn)進行適當的評價,本堂課的教學應該能更有效地開展起來。

本次活動的主題確定為“如何有效開展技能教學”,本人認為是非常有指導意義的。何為技能教學?就是在課堂教學中應當重視學生語言技能的訓練與培養(yǎng)。這也是新課程標準所要求的。而我們相當多的英語課堂教學存在知識性有余而技能訓練不足的現(xiàn)象。因此,提出或重申“技能教學”,把英語技能教學放在突出的位置是十分必要的。
聽了詹老師的課,總的來說,本堂課是較為成功的一堂課,給我們有很多的啟發(fā):
一、教學理念新穎
本堂課較好地體現(xiàn)了新課程的教學理念,“動中學,學中用”(LearningEnglishbydoingthings,andlearningEnglishfordoingthings),將新課程所倡導的任務型教學貫穿于課堂教學的始終,即:以任務為中心,以學生為主體,以活動為載體的教學模式(Task-based,students-centeredandactivities-adopted),學生的主體地位得到了較好的體現(xiàn),凸顯了英語技能的教學。詹老師圍繞本堂課的教學主題,Wouldyoumindturningdownthemusic?設計了一系列的教學活動,較好地激發(fā)了學生的學習熱情和參與的積極性。
二、教學效果明顯
主要體現(xiàn)于兩個方面:1)活動設計較為真實有效。從Lead-in:Askthestudentstodiscussaboutthe“Does”and“Don’ts”intheirschooldailylives,然后到Expresstheirfeelingsbecauseoftheirneighbours’badbehaviors,活動的設計貼近學生的日常生活,緊緊圍繞主體,避免了為了導入而導入,讓學生有話可說,有話能說,從而達到導入的目的。

2)教學目標的達成,難點的突破。本節(jié)課的教學難點應該在Wouldyoumind(not)doing?句型中minddoingsomething的語言現(xiàn)象。詹老師沒有刻意去講解這一語法現(xiàn)象,而是通過不斷的操練,使學生得到足夠的體驗,從而使學生在不知不覺中掌握了這一語言現(xiàn)象。

新課程要求教師充分調動學生的學習熱情,通過合作、參與、探究、體驗來習得語言。本堂課詹老師比較注重培養(yǎng)和調動學生的學習熱情,激發(fā)學生積極參與到課堂教學活動中來。參與(participation),我們著重關注其兩個方面,即:參與的面和參與的能力(abilityofparticipation),從學生的課堂活動表現(xiàn)來看,絕大部分學生能積極參與到課堂教學活動中,而且學生在活動的展示中也顯示了較強的參與能力。
最后提兩點建議:
1、盡管詹老師注意到了課堂教學的過程評價(evaluation),但本人認為教師評價的隨意性太大,棋子要爬多高,都是老師說了算,民主性、客觀性體現(xiàn)不夠,對學生的課堂表現(xiàn)評價不到位,不可避免的會出現(xiàn)評價“泛”和“濫”的現(xiàn)象,不利于激發(fā)學生,培養(yǎng)學生的民主競爭意識。
2、師生的互動(interaction)不夠。新課程要求教師要成為課堂活動的設計者,開展活動的指揮者,活動過程的參與者,活動結果的評價者,活動中的幫助者等。所以要求教師要參與到活動中去。互動(interaction)的本身包括兩個方面:interactionbetweentheteacherandthestudents;interactionamongthestudents。前者是點,后者為面,師生互動為的是示范,為生生互動做示范,可謂以點帶面。比如,在Trytobeapolitestudent活動中,正是因為缺少師生互動的示范作用,導致學生不能很好的理解老師的意圖,活動開展的不是十分流暢;在Conversation活動中,教師要求學生makeasimilardialoguebetweenateacherandastudent.這是如果老師參與其中,給學生做個示范,活動就會顯得再真實不過了。
