(一)單詞和句型教學
1.教授單詞sunny和句型Takeanumbrella....
(1)教師詢問學生:“Howistheweathertoday?”學生可以用“It’swarm/cold.It’sraining.”等句子來回答。如果當天的天氣是晴朗的,教師就說:“It’ssunny.”邊說邊在黑板上畫一個太陽,寫上sun,在單詞旁邊再寫一個sunny,讓學生理解sunny表示“晴朗的”,帶讀并操練單詞。
(2)教師拿出一把雨傘,告訴學生,早上天氣很晴朗,可是朱莉婭的媽媽卻讓她帶一把雨傘去上學,這是為什么?
(3)教師播放課文錄音或教學光盤,讓學生先帶著問題初步感知課文,聽完課文錄音后再回答問題。教師接著說:“Takeanumbrellawithyou.Itmayrainintheafternoon.”做動作讓學生明白take表示“帶去”、“帶走”,是從說話人這個地方帶到另一個地方去,學生跟讀并操練句子。
(4)教句子Itisrainingcatsanddogs.告訴學生catsanddogs是習語,其意為“傾盆大雨”。
(5)文化滲透:告訴學生英國是世界上少有的幾個天氣異常多變的國家之一,往往是上午還是陽光普照,下午就會大雨滂沱,一小時前還是晴空萬里,一小時后就會霧海茫茫。
2.教學單詞cloudy和windy。
(1)教師再次播放課文錄音或教學光盤,讓學生聽一聽并找一找,課文中提到了哪幾種天氣狀況。
(2)教師在黑板上畫出多云和刮風天氣圖,先在圖旁寫上cloud和wind,請學生認讀,再在單詞右邊寫出cloudy和windy,出示單詞卡片,引導學生自主認讀。
(3)請學生觀察黑板上名詞變?yōu)樾稳菰~的基本變化規(guī)律。
(4)知識拓展:學習簡單的表示氣象的單詞,如:snowy下雪的,stormy暴風雨的,overcast陰天,breezy有微風的,lightrain小雨,heavyrain大雨,rainy多雨的,foggy多霧的。

(二)細讀課文,熟讀對話
1.請學生翻開課本第45頁,教師播放課文錄音或教學光盤。
2.教師出示句子,學生判斷正(√)、誤(×)。

2.教師播放錄音讓學生跟讀幾遍,讓他們感受字母組合ds在單詞中的讀音/dz/。

文化和語言注釋
1.—What’syourfavoriteseason,Lily?(李麗,你最喜歡哪個季節(jié)?)
—Spring.(春天。)
(1)favorite是美國英語,英國英語的拼寫是favourite。這個形容詞沒有比較級或最高級。
(2)教學該單詞時可以參考課本第51頁Askandanswer.的問題,問學生What’syourfavoriteseason/color/food/sport/day/animal?等問題。
2.—Why?(你為什么喜歡春天呢?)
—It’swarminspring.Treesaregreen.Wecangotoseeflowers.(春天天氣暖和,樹木變綠了,我們可以去賞花。)
(1)Why?是一個省略的特殊疑問句,完整的問句是:Whydoyoulikespring?
(2)季節(jié)前面的介詞用in,如:inspring,insummer。
3.Wecangoswimming.Andwehavealongvacation.(我們可以去游泳,而且我們有很長的暑假。)
(1)goswimming(去游泳),類似結構的表達法還有:goshopping(去購物),goboating(去劃船),gofishing(去釣魚),godancing(去跳舞),goskating(去滑冰)等。
(2)vacation是“假期”的意思,暑假是summervacation,寒假是wintervacation。
4.本單元描述四個季節(jié)氣候特征的形容詞分別為warm,hot,cool和cold,教學中注意提醒學生warm和cool,hot和cold是兩組反義詞。另外在美國俚語里cool還指“極好的”、“好看的”,相當于漢語中表示時髦的“酷”。
5.Thatswonderful.(那好極了。)
wonderful是“極好的”意思。That’swonderful.和That’sgreat.是同一個意思。
6.在以元音結尾的可數(shù)名詞后加s構成名詞復數(shù),這時s讀作/z/,如:課本第50頁的bananas,eyes,trees,cows;第53頁的cars,chairs,flowers,boys。

(一)教授單詞season和favorite
1.出示每個季節(jié)的圖片各一張,教學season和seasons。教學單詞season時,可分兩部分讀單詞:sea→son→season。告訴學生單詞組合起來時,后面的son中的字母o讀作/?/,帶讀、操練并板書單詞。
2.教師給學生播放一段春天美景的視頻,邊播放視頻邊說:“It’sspring.Myfavoriteseasonisspring.”板書句子Myfavoriteseasonisspring.復習單詞spring,教學單詞favorite,并告訴學生,在英國favorite一般寫成favourite。

(一)初讀課文,學習新詞autumn和winter
1.教師說:“Lily’sfavoriteseasonisspring.WangTao’sfavoriteseasonissummer.WhataboutSallyandYangMing?”教師播放課文錄音或教學光盤,請學生初步感知課文,并嘗試回答問題。
2.教師播放錄音后,出示單詞卡片,教學單詞autumn和winter,并板書單詞。
(二)教學單詞cool和句型Doyoulike...?Why?
1.教師用簡筆畫在單詞autumn下畫一個旋轉的圈表示“涼爽”,一邊畫一邊說:“Cool.It’scoolinautumn.”拿出單詞卡片教學cool,強調字母組合oo在單詞中的發(fā)音/u:/。告訴學生,cool還可以表示“極好的”、“好看的”,相當于漢語中表示時髦的“酷”。全班學生齊聲說句子:“It’scoolinautumn.”
2.教師說:“Whatcanwedoinautumn?”引導學生自讀課文找出答案:flymykite。教師在黑板上單詞autumn旁用簡筆畫畫一幅放風箏圖,全班學生模仿并表演說句子:“It’scoolinautumn.Icanflymykite.”
3.用同樣方法教學句子It’scoldinwinter.Wecangoskating.Christmasisinwinter.
4.知識拓展:教師可補充教學godoing的短語,如:gofishing(去釣魚),goboating(去劃船),godancing(去跳舞),goswimming(去游泳)等。
5.教師自編韻律詩:

6.教師播放課文錄音或教學光盤,學生模仿讀句子,邊讀邊表演,讀到表示冬天活動的時候,引導學生讀出“Wecangoskating.”的喜悅心情,并了解單詞“wonderful”在課文中的意思。
7.教師詢問學生是否也喜歡冬天:“Wecangoskatinginwinter.Ilikewinter.XXX,doyoulikewinter?”學生回答后,教師再問:“Why?”然后板書句子:Doyoulike...?Yes,Ido.Why?并讓學生操練。
8.請學生兩人一組進行對話練習。
(三)熟讀課文,鞏固重點句型
1.學生翻開課本第52頁,教師播放錄音或教學光盤,學生認真看書,小聲模仿錄音二到三遍。
2.學生看課文圖片,嘗試復述課文,教師可適當給予提醒。
3.鞏固練習。
(1)完成課本第53頁的Let’stalk.部分,四人為一小組。學生A任意指一幅圖問學生B:“Doyoulike...?”學生B按課本提示回答,再由學生B指圖,學生C回答,以此類推。
(2)完成課本第54頁的Listenandwrite.部分,學生可根據(jù)問題What’syourfavoriteseason?Why?選擇自己喜歡的季節(jié),進行描述,學寫句子。
(3)游戲——小畫家。
游戲規(guī)則:教師事先準備好幾篇描寫季節(jié)的小短文。學生在教師的描述中在紙上繪畫,比一比誰畫得好。畫好后,在全班進行展示,并復述出自己畫的圖片的內容。
(4)學唱韻律詩:Seasons.
(四)語音教學
1.教師出示單詞卡片bananas,eyes,trees和cows,讓學生自己拼讀,復習上節(jié)課所學內容。同時在黑板上寫出單詞car,chair,flower和boy,讓學生嘗試先認讀,然后用紅筆逐一在每個單詞后加上s,再讓學生試著讀一讀,找一找它們的發(fā)音規(guī)律。
2.教師播放錄音讓學生跟讀幾遍。
3.教師再寫出幾個單詞,如:toys,pairs,farmers,stars,讓學生自己嘗試拼讀。
