語法知識詳解:
動詞不定式與動名詞(to+v.與v.+ing)作賓語,非謂語動詞中只有動詞不定式和動詞的-ing形式可以做賓語。
1.作賓語的區(qū)別
(1)like,love之后接v.ing形式、不定式均可,且意義差別不大。
用動詞-ing形式強調(diào)一般的行為習慣、愛好,用動詞不定式強調(diào)具體的某次動作。
eg.
Ilikesinging,butIdon’tliketosingtoday.
我喜歡唱歌,可是今天不想唱。
(2)begin,start之后接動詞-ing形式、不定式均可。
eg.
Let’sbeginsinging(tosing).
我們開始唱歌吧。
但是當begin,start本身是-ing形式或跟feel,know,understand等表示心理的動詞連用時,常用不定式作賓語。

那么,什么時候用動詞不定式,什么時候用v-ing形式呢?經(jīng)過分析,我們發(fā)現(xiàn):
接不定式的單詞多為“打算”、“計劃”、“希望”、“想要”之類的動詞,而這些動詞都表示未來。所以,如果表示將來的行為,一般情況下應該用不定式形式。再看一下enjoydoingsth.,lovedoingsth.,likedoingsth.,stopdoingsth.,我們就會發(fā)現(xiàn),v.-ing形式要么表示是正在進行,要么表示一般性或經(jīng)常性的行為。其中enjoydoingsth.,stopdoingsth.中用v.-ing形式,表示“我們是從我們正在做的行為中得到快樂”,“我們停止的是正在進行的動作”;likedoingsth.,lovedoingsth.中用v.-ing形式,是因為自己的喜歡、愛好,一般說來是經(jīng)常性的,而不一定表示將來。因此,我們可以簡單總結出一下規(guī)律:一般來說,動詞不定式表示將來的動作或行為,而v.-ing形式表示經(jīng)常性的、一般性的動作或行為及正在進行的動作或行為。

意大利維洛那城的凱普萊特和蒙太古兩個家族有世仇,他們之間常常發(fā)生流血事件。一天,蒙太古的兒子羅密歐在化妝舞會上,與凱普萊特的女兒朱麗葉一見鐘情。直到天亮,倆人才依依惜別。第二天,羅密歐把二人的感情告訴了修道院的勞倫斯長老。長老表示支持,并暗中主持婚禮,希望借此結束兩家的宿怨。結婚的當天中午,羅密歐刺死了提伯爾特。這使兩家的仇恨更加激化,羅密歐也因此遭放逐。羅密歐走后不久,凱普萊特就逼迫朱麗葉與帕里斯伯爵結婚。朱麗葉焦急萬分,請求勞倫斯長老幫助。長老急中生智,一面讓朱麗葉在婚前的夜晚服下他的假死藥,一面派人送信給羅密歐,讓他適時趕來帶走朱麗葉。朱麗葉依計行事,可是送信的人卻沒有如期找到羅密歐。羅密歐得知朱麗葉死亡的消息連夜趕回,與先來憑吊朱麗葉的帕里斯發(fā)生誤會,刺死了帕里斯,然后自飲毒酒死在朱麗葉身旁。勞倫斯神甫遲到了,他看到帕里斯羅密歐已死,追悔莫及,這時朱麗葉醒來,看到這一情景,便抓起羅密歐身上的匕首,刺進了自己胸膛。
親王來到現(xiàn)場,弄清了真相,譴責了凱普萊特與蒙太古兩家,于是兩個仇家和解了。
