preferv.更喜愛,更喜歡.相當(dāng)于likeverymuch.具體用法如下:
(1)prefer+n.(名詞),例如:
Iprefergroupsthatplayquietandgentlesongs.我更喜歡演唱輕柔音樂的組合。

(2)prefertodosth寧愿做某事,例如:

(3)prefersthtosth比…更喜歡…,(此句型中的to是介詞,后接名詞、代詞或動名詞)相當(dāng)于likeAbetterthanB.意為“喜歡A,不喜歡B;寧愿A,不愿B”使用這個句型,最重要的原則就是“前后一致”,也就是說,prefer和to后面的部分,不論詞性、形式都要相同。例如:
Ipreferfishtomeat.我喜歡魚,而不喜歡肉。(prefer名詞to名詞)
Ipreferreadingtoplaying.我寧愿讀書,不愿玩耍。(prefer動名詞to動名詞)

區(qū)分produce和make
二者用作動詞作“制造”、“生產(chǎn)”講時,可互換使用。如:
Thefactorymakes/producescolourTVsets.(這個工廠生產(chǎn)彩電。)
make為普通用語,意思為“做”、“建造”、“生產(chǎn)”,主語多為人,有時也可能是生產(chǎn)物品的某個地點。如:
Shemakeacakeforus.(她給我們做了一個蛋糕。)(主語是人)
Theshopmakesshoes.(這家店鋪生產(chǎn)鞋子。)(主語是某個地點)
produce為正式用語,意為“生產(chǎn)”、“產(chǎn)生”、“制造”,其主語可以是人,也可以是物或某個地點。如:
Theyproduceover250carsaweek.(他們每周生產(chǎn)250輛汽車。)(主語是人)
Themachinecanproducemusicwhenyoutouchit.
(當(dāng)你觸摸到這臺機器時,它會放出音樂。)(主語是物)
Canadaproduceshigh-qualitywheat.(加拿大生產(chǎn)高品質(zhì)的小麥。)(主語是某個地點)
2、Itdoeshaveafewgoodfeatures,though.然而它的確有些優(yōu)點。
does在句中表強調(diào),可寫成Ithasafewgoodfeatures,though.
though即可以作副詞也可以作連詞,在這里用作副詞,放在句尾作連詞用時,放在句首或句中,但不能與but連用。
語法:
語從句
這個句型是這單元我們重點接觸的一個語法項目,你觀察兩個句子,看看有什么區(qū)別:
一本有趣的書
aninterestingbook形容詞interesting做定語修飾名詞book
abookthatisinterestingthatisinteresting這個句子做定語修飾名詞book
interesting/thatisinteresting作用是相同的,都是用作定語來修飾名詞book,我們把這種在復(fù)合句中修飾名詞或代詞的從句叫做定語從句。再如:
一位漂亮的女孩
agirlwhoisbeautiful從句做定語(girl是先行詞)
等于abeautifulgirlbeautiful是形容詞做定語
一本有趣的書
abookthatisinteresting從句做定語(book是先行詞)
等于aninterestingbook形容詞做定語
復(fù)合句中,修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句叫做定語從句。定語從句要跟在所修飾的名詞或代詞后面,被定語從句修飾的名詞或代詞叫做先行詞。定語從句一般用關(guān)系代詞who,that,which和whose來引導(dǎo),放在從句的句首使從句與主句相連,并在句中擔(dān)當(dāng)一定的成分,關(guān)系代詞如果在從句中作主語就要用主格,如果做賓語就要用賓格,如果做定語就要用所有格。
IlikemusicthatIcandanceto.我喜歡可以隨之跳舞的音樂。
music作先行詞,thatIcandanceto是定語從句修飾music,其中,that是關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)定語從句
Iprefersingerswhocanwritetheirownsongs.我喜愛能自己寫歌的歌星。
singers作先行詞,whocanwritetheirownsongs是定語從句修飾singers,其中,who是關(guān)系代詞。
定語從句是高中的一個重要語法項目,這里就各關(guān)系代詞舉例如下:

Who/that在定語從句中做主語時,需要注意的是謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)應(yīng)與先行詞保持一致。例如:

(1)定義:在復(fù)合句中,修飾名詞和代詞的從句叫定語從句。被修飾的名詞和代詞叫先行詞。

(2)引導(dǎo)定語從句的關(guān)系詞有that(指人/物)which(指物)who(指人)
(3)定語從句分限定性定語從句和非限定性定語從句。非限定性定語從句是對先行詞所做的附加說明,它同主句的關(guān)系不是十分密切,即使省了,并不影響主句意義的明確或完整。非限定性定語從句一般用“,”與主句隔開。引導(dǎo)非限定性定語從句的關(guān)系代詞不可省略,that不能引導(dǎo)非限定性定語從句。
