2.How/Whatabout…?表示“……怎么樣/好嗎?”
這個(gè)句型是詢(xún)問(wèn)聽(tīng)話(huà)這一方對(duì)某事物的看法或者意見(jiàn)。about是個(gè)介詞,它后面要接名詞或者doing。
如:
Howabouthisplayingfootball? 他足球踢得怎么樣?

HowaboutherEnglish? 她的英語(yǔ)怎樣?
3.too…to,這個(gè)短語(yǔ)雖然是肯定的形式,但是表達(dá)的是否定的意思:“太…以至于(不能)…”。
如:

Theboxistooheavyforthelittlegirltocarry. 這箱子太重,小女孩搬不動(dòng)。
如在too前面或者后面有否定詞not,則整個(gè)句子表達(dá)肯定。

4.spend…on在…上花(時(shí)間或金錢(qián))
如:
Hespendsalotofmoneyonbooks. 他花許多錢(qián)買(mǎi)書(shū)。
spend…(in)doing sth.花(時(shí)間或金錢(qián)等)做某事。
如:
Thegovernmentwillspendmoneylookingafterthepatients. 政府要花錢(qián)去照料那些病人
英語(yǔ)中表“花費(fèi)”的詞語(yǔ):
(l)spend的主語(yǔ)必須是“人”,賓語(yǔ)可以是錢(qián)、精力、時(shí)間等。
如:
Hespendsmuchmoneyonbooks.他平時(shí)將很多錢(qián)用在買(mǎi)書(shū)上。
Hespentalotofmoney(in)buyinganewcar.他花很多錢(qián)買(mǎi)了一輛新車(chē)。
(2)cost的主語(yǔ)必須是“物”或“事”,表示“費(fèi)用”、“耗費(fèi)”,后接life,money,health,time等,側(cè)重于“花費(fèi)”的代價(jià)。
如:
Thebookcosthimonedollar.這本書(shū)用了他一美元。
Itcostsyou12poundstogotoLondonbyship.乘船到倫敦要用12英鎊。
(3)take表示“花費(fèi)”時(shí),其主語(yǔ)一般是“一件事”,有時(shí)主語(yǔ)也可以是人,它說(shuō)明事情完成“花費(fèi)了……”。
如:
Ittookmetenminutestogotothepostoffice.到郵局用用了我十分鐘時(shí)間。
Ittakesalotofmoneytobuyahouseasbigasthat.買(mǎi)一座像那樣的房子要花很多錢(qián)。
(4)pay的基本意思是“支付”,作為及物動(dòng)詞,賓語(yǔ)可以是“人”、“錢(qián)”,
如:
Hepaidthetaxiandhurriedtothestation.他付了出租車(chē)的錢(qián),急忙向車(chē)站趕去。
Theyhadtopaytwohundredfrancs.他得付一百法郎。
Wellpayyouinafewdays.幾天后我會(huì)給你錢(qián)。
(5)payfor的賓語(yǔ)為“物”、“事”,for表示支付的原因。
