A)forgive,excuse,pardon
excuse:“原諒”,指有意放過人們在社會,習俗方面的具體行為。如失禮,疏忽或失職,不予以指責和懲罰,常用于口語。
forgive:“饒恕,寬恕,赦免”,感情色彩較濃,表示不但放棄一切報復要求,且打消一切復仇的心理,不再憤恨,強調(diào)主觀和內(nèi)心的寬恕。
