反意疑問句舉要
I.如何回答反意疑問句?
答:反意疑問句的回答總的原則是:不管問題的提法如何只要事實上是肯定的,就用Yes;只要事實上是否定的,就用No。
注意:陳述句部分是否定句時,注意回答和漢語習慣不一樣:

–––No,Ihaven’t.HowIwishtogothere!(是的,我沒去過。我多么想去?。?
[析]根據(jù)下文HowIwishtogothere!可知答話人沒有去過北京。根據(jù)事實進行回答,沒去,即說No,Ihaven’t。英語的習慣是yes配用肯定句,no配用否定句。
實際上,英語的no是針對句中所陳述的事情“到過北京”而言的;而漢語的“是的”是表示“對,您說的對”。是針對說話人的觀點而發(fā)表的議論。
II.陳述句含否定詞的反意疑問句:
1.陳述句部分出現(xiàn)否定意義的副詞、代詞,如little(少的),few,hardly,rarely,scarcely,barely,never,seldom,noone,none,nobody,nothing等時,反意疑問句應用肯定式。如:

當little意思是“小的、年輕的”時,疑問尾句仍用肯定式:

III.有兩種形式的改成反意問句:
當陳述部分have表示“擁有,所有”含義時,疑問句部分既可用have,也可用do,但要注意前后保持一致;當have作“經(jīng)歷、遭受,得到,進行,吃”等意思,尤其是構成一些短語,如haveaclass,haveameeting,havelunchhavesport,havesth.done等,疑問句部分只用do的適當形式。如:

IV.祈使句的反意疑問句:
祈使句的反意疑問句一般用肯定形式“willyou?”。
在“祈使句+反意疑問句”結構中,為使祈使句聽起來比較婉轉、客氣,還可以采用wouldyou,won’tyou,couldyou,canyou,whydon’tyou等形式。

用Let’s開頭的祈使句,疑問尾句可用shall/shan’twe,因為這時let’s…表示邀請對方一起去做某事;祈使句以Letus/me/him…開頭,要用willyou/won’tyou?,因為Letus/me…表示向對方請求允許,意為“讓我們/我……(=Youletus…)”,故要用willyou(好嗎)。

陳述句為各種主從復合句時,反意疑問句的主語及助動詞應與主句保持一致。例如:
