一、掌握書(shū)面通知特點(diǎn)
書(shū)面頭通知即以書(shū)面的形式表達(dá)通知的內(nèi)容,其特點(diǎn)是:措辭較嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),句子結(jié)構(gòu)相對(duì)口頭通知會(huì)更復(fù)雜,尤其會(huì)使用一些非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)(如用不定式表目的等)和從句(如if從句、when從句、sothat從句等)。
二、熟記書(shū)面通知格式
與口頭通知不同,書(shū)面通知在用書(shū)面形式表達(dá)出來(lái)時(shí),它有自己比較固定的格式:如通知開(kāi)頭要有標(biāo)題(通常為Notice或Announcement),標(biāo)題下面是正文,正文后通常還應(yīng)有發(fā)通知的單位(通常寫(xiě)在右下角)和寫(xiě)發(fā)通知的日期(通常寫(xiě)在左下角)等。
三、注意與口頭通的區(qū)別
口頭通知一般有開(kāi)頭稱呼語(yǔ)(Ladiesandgentlemen,Boysandgirls等),而書(shū)面通知通常不用這些開(kāi)頭稱呼語(yǔ);口頭通知用來(lái)吸引聽(tīng)眾注意力的句子(如MayIhaveyourattention,please?/Attentionplease,everyone.Ihaveanannouncementtomake./Bequite.ThereissomethingimportantIhavetotellyou.等)在書(shū)面通知中通常不可以用;口頭通知的結(jié)束套語(yǔ)(That’sall.Thankyouverymuch.)在書(shū)面通知中也不會(huì)使用。
四、熟記書(shū)面通知套語(yǔ)
盡管書(shū)面通知與口頭通知有很多表達(dá)套語(yǔ)不一樣,但有些表達(dá)(如叫聽(tīng)者不要遲到、歡迎某人參加某活動(dòng)等方面的套語(yǔ))是可以通用的,不過(guò)有時(shí)可能在措辭方面會(huì)有所不同(書(shū)面通知措辭可能會(huì)略正式些)。如:
口頭通知:Everyoneshouldbethereontime.
Besurenottobelate.
Pleasebepresentontime.
書(shū)面通知:Everyoneisrequiredtobepresentontime.
口頭通知:Besuretoattenditontime.

四、牢記書(shū)面語(yǔ)通知時(shí)態(tài)
與口頭通知一樣,書(shū)面通知也以一般將來(lái)時(shí)為主。如:

五、書(shū)面通知實(shí)戰(zhàn)演練
請(qǐng)根據(jù)提示寫(xiě)一份通知。
(1)高二(5)在本周五晚上要開(kāi)個(gè)英語(yǔ)晚會(huì)。
(2)晚飯后6:30在教室集合,晚會(huì)7:00開(kāi)始。
