《鋼的琴》觀后感
看完《鋼的琴》,心里有很多說不出的細(xì)細(xì)情感,原本以為只是一部簡單的喜劇電影,但是里面的所有細(xì)節(jié),所有的細(xì)微的感情都讓這部電影深深地印在心里。在這部電影里,除了看到電影中父親表達(dá)出來的對女兒的愛,朋友表達(dá)出來的真摯的友情,里面的背景也是將我深深吸引。我相信這部電影講的是一代人的記憶,或許在我們這個年紀(jì)并不會有太大的體會,但是還是可以感受這部電影帶領(lǐng)我們或者是某一代人他們以為自己已經(jīng)很熟悉的世界,卻在里面發(fā)現(xiàn)了自己不曾發(fā)現(xiàn)或者一直忽視的世界,而這個世界往往就存在于我們的內(nèi)心世界里。
“鋼” 這個字,我認(rèn)為是貫穿整部電影的,它代表著鋼琴也代表著鋼鐵,是一段情,也是一段歷史。
首先,鋼琴,陳桂林為了得到對于女兒的撫養(yǎng)權(quán),忍受種種壓力,到處去借為女兒買鋼琴的錢,最后在四處受挫無果的情況下,遭受了各種拒絕后,桂林偶然翻到一本關(guān)于鋼琴的俄國文獻,于是叫上伙伴們在早已破敗的廠房中開始了手工制造鋼琴的征途??
與其說那只是一部鋼琴,不如說那是一段“鋼的情”,在整部電影里,我看到了陳桂林對小元的父愛?;蛟S中國式的父母,和西方的父母不同,不會把對子女的愛掛在嘴上,哪怕愛得再深再切,只有在面對面的時候,那個時候眼神和行為就代表一切。因此桂林對于小元的愛,全都融在了那個紙板的無聲“鋼琴”里,在他那四處借錢、甚至偷鋼琴的“瘋狂”行為里,和最后那架凝聚所有人心血的“鋼的琴”
里,連我也深深被觸動了。大丈夫有淚不輕彈,對于東北漢子陳桂林更是將苦都埋在自己的心里。在發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子的媽媽生活條件比自己好得多,可以給小元買新衣服新書包的時候,他生氣地砸壞了紙板鍵盤,最后還是緊緊地?fù)ё∨畠?;從他眼神里可以看到無奈和愛并存。在發(fā)現(xiàn)沒辦法偷走學(xué)校的鋼琴的時候,他也只能在漫天的飛雪里孤獨地彈奏,那個時候的琴聲更像是無奈的一聲聲吶喊。當(dāng)那架鋼的琴搬到空曠的廠房里女兒面前的時候,理想與現(xiàn)實終于有了一次巧妙的對接,他已經(jīng)盡力了,為了女兒更好的生活,他最后選擇放棄,當(dāng)琴聲從鋼鐵的感情中傳出來的時候,那種深入骨髓的無奈再次蔓延。
其次,是那一幕幕熟悉的背景,我想那代表著跟隨中國鋼鐵一起走過的一段歷史。那也就是“兩個煙囪”的故事。那些努力工作勤勤懇懇的工人們,他們也有自己的夢想和堅持么,他們也曾希望自己成為工廠里“全國勞模”那樣特殊的稱號,然而時間推移,一些“國企改制”和“下崗分流”開始在新聞中頻頻出現(xiàn)。還有那些場景,經(jīng)濟效益不好,工人下崗,廠子賣掉,大批職工內(nèi)退,附屬的事業(yè)單位比如醫(yī)院、學(xué)校和幼兒園也收歸政府或承包給私人了。幸運的是廠子沒停,機器也還轉(zhuǎn)動著,當(dāng)鋼鐵被深深地埋在地下,也埋掉了一代人的勞動和記憶吧,不得不說,某一程度上來說,那是令人傷感的,這個城市似乎也開始變得陰郁和灰暗。
我想電影中那些小人物所表現(xiàn)出來的卑微,倔強和抗?fàn)?,是以一種多么簡單和真實的方式展現(xiàn)給我們,也捎帶著似乎以一種并不沉重的情感,然而越是這樣的簡單生活,讓我們更加真切的看到了那一代
人無奈和無助。我想兩桿大煙囪雖見證了鋼鐵廠的輝煌與沒落,眾多工人也在為它不被摧毀而出謀劃策,但它們最后還是遭到了社會變革的遺棄,電影里的場景,在炸大窯的那天全廠人都跑到喇叭山上圍觀定向爆破去了,窯倒掉濺起的塵埃還是把大家湮沒了,被嗆著咳嗽出眼淚,我想那一刻,很多工人心里也在落淚。
盡管最后還是倒下了,但它就像電影里的對白說的那樣,“它們永遠(yuǎn)是工人們的一段回憶,一個老朋友,只要看過去,它們就還在”。某一方面來說,造鋼琴和當(dāng)年的造鋼鐵一樣,雖然很努力,但是最后還是徒勞無功,然后作為一份子,工人兄弟們也感受到了勞動之幸福,收獲了勞動的過程是快樂和激情澎湃,收獲了友情,愛情。

the violence, the emotions, the realms of a third world country, and the beauty of love regardless of any situation was nicely presented on the movie. it also showed the kind of life the slams of india has - the children, the women, and the heartless adults. the nicest thing that i like about the movie is the light after dark part.

the innocent look and the sad eyes of dev patel are perfect for jamal’s character. frieda pinto is really pretty, just the perfect flower on the movie. the rest of the characters are well-suited.

《盜夢空間》這部電影講述了柯布和他的團隊,穿梭于各個夢境盜取別人的機密、財富的故事。
這部電影是一部非常好看、創(chuàng)新的電影,自己看什么都看不懂,就看他們,刷、刷、刷弄來弄去,最后回來,我看得自己眼睛都有幻影了??赐旰笪掖竽X“砰”的一下短路了——一片空白,大量信息飛一樣地奔入我的腦中,使人頭痛欲裂,卻又無法解答,真想馬上拿出手機看電影解析。天呢!地呢!太難看懂了!我這IQ只有50的小腦子,快炸了!所以這部電影你要IQ300才能觀看,不然——會短路!
使我印象比較深刻的便是柯布了。他應(yīng)該也是一位十分優(yōu)秀的筑夢師,可因為妻子不能再筑夢。他給團隊請的筑夢師的入隊條件也太變態(tài)了吧!兩分鐘內(nèi)畫一個迷宮!我估計那名新筑夢師的第一反應(yīng)便是——大哥,你逗我呢!不過她也真是奇葩,還真給畫出來了,好像還是一個圓形的。更可怕的是后面的夢境,被改的簡直就像哪位大師畫出來的不可能的圖形一樣。比方說:你正在上樓梯,卻去到了二樓的墻壁上,這個墻壁卻又連著隔壁房間的天花板……Oh大哥,逗我玩呢?眼睛都看瞎了。這已經(jīng)很牛了,但更讓人琢磨不透的還是結(jié)尾。
他到底有沒有回到現(xiàn)實世界中?我認(rèn)為是的,他回來了,雖然他可以用陀螺來辨別,但最后這個導(dǎo)演不給面子,搞事情,不多留個幾秒看看陀螺到底倒了沒。所以我們必須另找線索——戒指。沒錯,就是戒指!他這個東西在夢境中是出現(xiàn)的,但在現(xiàn)實中是消失的。所以我認(rèn)為這是一個特別的道具可以明辨現(xiàn)實,可好像又不是,可又很納悶——那既然有了這個戒指又何必要用陀螺呢?
看完后的我甚至感覺,自己的世界也不真實了……想讓別人踢我一腳。

《盜夢空間》是我看過的最好電影之一,場景的設(shè)置十分多樣,而且,我一開始,根本就沒看懂怎樣回事,直到影片進行到一段后,才開始慢慢地有些看懂,就是這個盜夢空間,讓我開始對男主角里昂那多迪卡普里奧開始有了較深的印象,雖然在泰坦尼克號的片段里我就見過他,但是直到盜夢空間,我才開始真正感受到他的魅力,用楓的話說,是:他的眼神,很犀利。
盜夢空間的劇情進行地十分快速,一開場就把主角基本上都給出場了,此刻回想這個片,我忽然想起里昂那多迪卡普里奧總是有著不少逃亡的鏡頭,即使是狼狽的在逃跑,卻在槍林彈雨中仍然表現(xiàn)地那么能干,有些畫面很滑稽,比如在盜夢空間里,他為了躲過康柏的追擊,被列車夾在墻里的那個難受樣,實在好笑。
那個造夢者的女生的初次面試我覺得很經(jīng)典,你看她的表情,她的眼神,多么的有意思,一副不肯被小看的樣貌,她很厲害,而且十分的有個性,是我喜歡的那種類型。
其他人物在劇中也是舉足輕重,比如那個費雪小帥,比如那個偽裝者,但是還是主角給我的印象最深,他的那份痛苦,他的那份內(nèi)疚,還有,在刺客說的那句話:

九點了,媽媽和爸爸都睡著了,我輕手輕腳地從床上坐起來,掀開被子,下了床,去櫥柜里取出皮皮魯系列中我最青睞的一本——《皮皮魯與病菌老大》。這本書講的是一名化驗師與一個病菌中的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)聯(lián)手指揮病菌往貪錢的人身上入侵的故事。
“啪!”燈暗了下來,書自己翻動了起來,皮皮魯化身拇指先生出現(xiàn)在書的上方,書自己翻動了起來,說:“你這么喜歡看這本書,告訴我原因好嗎?”“因為一看到貪錢的人中箭落馬,就一陣舒暢。”我說?!澳隳鞘浅圆涣似咸褏s說葡萄酸!喏,這個給你。”皮皮魯拿出一個指環(huán),“午夜12點之前一定要回來。”
一陣斗轉(zhuǎn)星移,我搖身一變成為了教育局局長,各個下屬溜須拍馬,大獻殷勤,說我是什么最美局長,一開始我還十分不解,后來也忍不住聽了又聽。

《盜夢空間》男主角道姆·科布是一個善于潛夢的竊賊。在人們熟睡且精神脆弱的時候,他潛入別人夢中,竊取潛意識中有價值的信息和秘密,在這過程中夢中人腦運轉(zhuǎn)速度比現(xiàn)實中快20倍,而在夢中消磨一小時相抵現(xiàn)實生活中的5分鐘。
那么《盜夢空間》給我?guī)砟男┱鸷?,而又引發(fā)了怎樣深沉得思考?
(1)夢境設(shè)計師可以在夢境內(nèi)構(gòu)造自己意念中的世界,如年輕的夢境設(shè)計師艾里阿德妮帶著好奇心來到了科布的夢境,在潛意識里她也在構(gòu)建自己的世界,她心中所想的街道也成為立體的模式并塑造出她所構(gòu)筑的虛幻世界,只兩面立體鏡卻像一層套著一層,男主角像會分身術(shù)一樣出現(xiàn)。而男主角的意識里躲著一個陰暗的人格,他的氣焰轉(zhuǎn)化成矛頭,更多虛構(gòu)的人用憤怒的眼神看著艾里阿德妮,直至殺死她,最后她在睡夢中驚醒。
(2)由于分不清現(xiàn)實與夢境的區(qū)別,很多人會一直沉睡,高級藥劑師的出場為整部劇層層嵌套的格局埋下伏筆,出乎意料的是在進入費舍爾的夢境里,還有防盜夢者,他們面對著死亡,于是又在策劃下一層夢境,在規(guī)定的時間完成任務(wù)并采取特殊手段。自始自終,他們一直有一個目標(biāo),在費舍爾的頭腦中植入遣散公司的意念,從而消滅齋藤的對手,如果成功,齋藤將帶他回國,科布將會見到自己的兒女,這從開始就是場交易,一場生與死的拼搏!
(3)三層夢境環(huán)環(huán)相套,在第三層夢境中又套著一層,科布潛意識里的亡妻存在于構(gòu)建的迷茫中(現(xiàn)實與夢境的糾結(jié)),最后科布說出他的植入理念給他帶來的深深罪惡感,并從意識邊緣中清醒過來,同時電影最后也設(shè)置了一個懸念,科布回到現(xiàn)實世界了嗎?在我看來:最后的時候,陀螺轉(zhuǎn)速變慢,中心軸左右搖擺,看似有停止轉(zhuǎn)動的前兆,可判斷為現(xiàn)實。只是電影突然停止,如若眼神飄忽,也會有另一番想象。另外,科布的世界里是沒有兒女的樣子,電影里有提到在夢里科布每次想叫孩子,孩子就會轉(zhuǎn)身跑掉,但和兒女團聚之后孩子轉(zhuǎn)過了臉,由此判斷是現(xiàn)實的。然而這只是片面之詞,盜夢空間若有下部,于劇情需要,他是沒回現(xiàn)實世界的,或許又有更強的人來發(fā)掘更精彩的世界!

新學(xué)期的第一個周末,剛好《盜夢空間》上映,我約上三兩同學(xué),一同去購物公園的五星電影院搶先觀看。不愧是熱門電影,來看《盜夢空間》的人還真多。我們排隊買票之后,趕緊進入放映廳,等待開映。
故事在一個一個“扣”的揭開中展開,整個電影劇情在親情、愛情、和驚險刺激的場面中深入,在萊昂納多重回現(xiàn)實中結(jié)束。
若觀看了這個電影后,不禁被導(dǎo)演諾蘭的敘事方式和創(chuàng)意手法所折服,故事在夢境和現(xiàn)實中不斷交錯,故事情節(jié)盤根錯節(jié),讓我看了不禁拍案叫絕。
影片中的主人公似乎是迷失在現(xiàn)實與夢境中,已經(jīng)完全模糊了,分不清現(xiàn)實還是夢境。由此,我聯(lián)想到了我自己。我也有自己的夢想,我夢想成為一名作家,我只喜歡語文、政治、歷史,而不喜歡理科。我文科成績很好而理科成績一塌糊涂。但是現(xiàn)實是,我必須通過中考才能上高中、通過高考才能上大學(xué),上了大學(xué)才能更好的實現(xiàn)我的夢想。而以我蹩腳的理科成績,很難上到好的高中,也就很難上到很好的大學(xué)了。我一直處在糾結(jié)中。
看看了《盜夢空間》,經(jīng)過深思熟慮,我明白了現(xiàn)實與夢想的區(qū)別,我必須處理好我現(xiàn)在的顯示問題,我必須把理科學(xué)好,考上好高中、才能繼續(xù)我的夢想。

看完這部電影,腦里像是有團熊熊烈火在不停地?zé)约旱哪X子,為什么他們可以盜夢呢?為什么夢境的時間比現(xiàn)實快一些呢?結(jié)局更是令人百思不得其解……一連串的問題像是蠻橫的野獸不斷地撞擊著我的好奇心,使我不得不認(rèn)為這是部疑云重重的電影。我猜測著種種可能,可還是只是看到這真相的冰山一角,好似霧里看花,看到的還不是九牛一毛。在我為這部電影頭痛的同時也不得不敬佩導(dǎo)演,這如此繁瑣的線索需要怎樣的邏輯能力才能編出?這如此真實的夢境又要何等想象力?
我的腦袋好似一團漿糊將藕斷絲連的關(guān)系粘合在了一起,由此做出了自己的判斷以及觀點:①柯布回來了。在電影里每個盜夢者都有自己的圖騰,來幫助自己判斷是否還在夢境中。由主人公柯布的圖騰——陀螺,就不難看出,只要陀螺不倒,轉(zhuǎn)個不停那就是還在夢境中。而另一個盜夢小組的成員,那個夢境設(shè)計者的圖騰是象棋,這怎么轉(zhuǎn)?原來是用手推的,推得倒在現(xiàn)實中,推不倒應(yīng)該就像定在那一樣推不動。由此可以做出進一步的推測,不管圖騰的主人用不用力,認(rèn)不認(rèn)真,不會倒就是不會倒,要倒那就回來了!所以主人公是回來了的。②柯布沒回來。通過電影,觀眾不難看出每層夢境都需要一個人來接應(yīng),而進入夢境的有六個人可以進入六層夢境哎!所以結(jié)局是在第六層夢境。
我總結(jié)出一句話:明白身處在夢境中,卻又出不來才是最可怕的。

以前,我一直以為螢火蟲是吃草的動物,可是我看了昆蟲記后,我才知道,它是喜歡吃的食肉動物他有兩片變成鉤狀的顎,十分鋒利,卻細(xì)的跟頭發(fā)一樣。我們都看不見,必須借助顯微鏡才能看到,彎鉤上有一道細(xì)細(xì)的槽,它像人類奇妙的外科手術(shù)一樣,對獵物注射麻醉藥,使它失去知覺。它還有一盞燈,晚上的時候更利于捕獵。我們也可以抓螢火蟲,晚上它可以當(dāng)我們的小燈用。

讀完這本書,我踮起放大鏡就跑出了家門。剛剛下過大雨,小草上還掛著露珠,顯得綠意盎然,青翠欲滴。屋檐下,晶瑩的雨滴一點點流淌下來。哈,在潮濕的墻壁上,我捉住了一只正在散步的慢吞吞的小家伙——蝸牛。我舉起放大鏡細(xì)致地觀察著它。它粉嫩的軀體從肉色的殼中探出一半,兩根天線似的觸角不安的抖動著,伸著。在我目不轉(zhuǎn)睛的注視下,它緩緩向前移動著。它爬過的地方,會留下一條透明的痕跡,這是它的黏液。端詳完蝸牛,我想:大自然真是千奇百怪,無奇不有,昆蟲真可愛,真有趣!

■■《霧都孤兒》是一部十分著名的小說,作者狄更斯,是英國的一位非常著名的作家。
小說的主人公是一個孤兒,名叫奧里弗,他的童年是在濟貧院度過的。后來,他被送到一個棺材鋪里當(dāng)學(xué)徒。因不堪忍受老板娘的壓迫,他向倫敦逃去。
路上,他遇上了一個外號機靈鬼的人,把他騙進了賊窩,在兩次偷盜中,他都遇到了好人,把他留在家里撫養(yǎng),但又一次次的被抓回去。最后,隨著南西的病情好轉(zhuǎn),他告訴他們一個他們偶然聽到的秘密,說奧里弗同父異母的兄弟想為了財產(chǎn)殺死他,于是他逮捕了小偷的巢穴,但出于同情,奧里弗放開了他的兄弟。奧里弗的災(zāi)難終于結(jié)束了。他被他第一次偷來的那位老先生收養(yǎng)了。
奧里弗只知道他偷了兩次,但被偷的是他父親的好朋友和姑姑。
整部小說充滿曲折,讓人不僅感嘆奧里弗的人生經(jīng)歷,對壞人說憤怒,對好人說感動,對奧里弗最后的幸福生活感到高興。而我最喜愛的人物,是在兩次奧里弗陷入危難時,沒有計較他偷了東西,而是十分同情他,并幫助了他的兩個人。因為他們的善良,奧里弗才得救,也因為他們的善良,才使世界上少了一個受苦的孩子,是將來少了一個賊,多了一個好人。
如果世界上的人都想他們一樣,我想世界上不會有受苦受難的人和這么多孤兒。正如一首歌中所唱的:“只有人人都獻出一點愛,世界將變成美好的人間。
”而我也為其中的南西所感動,她是賊窩得一分子,但她沒有被賊窩染黑了心,她知道悔改,知道去憐憫一個孤兒。但她也被那個善良的人感動了??梢钥闯?,如果好人多了,他們也許能在小偷的巢穴里影響一刻,影響一點點人心。但是,我也為南西所悲哀,她最后的結(jié)局十分慘,她***了,而打死她的人,確是她一直不舍得離開的人。
南西有很多機會逃離這個骯臟的世界,但她放棄了,只是因為她最后不愿意死。

the author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in london.
the hero of this novel was oliver twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. he suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse. while reading the tragic experiences of the little oliver, i was shocked by his sufferings.
i felt for the poor boy, but at the same time i detested the evil fagin and the brutal bill. to my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and oliver lived a happy life in the end. one of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of mrs.
maylie and rose and began a new life. he went for walks with them, or rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons. he felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty.

he reason is the nature of goodness. i think it is the most important information implied in the novel by dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. although i don’t think goodness is omnipotent, yet i do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

The film stars a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.
They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. But climb them he does, dragging a noodle wagon, because all the people of the valley have gathered up there to witness the choosing of the Dragon Warrior, who will engage the dreaded Tai Lung (Ian McShane) in kung-fu combat. Five contenders have been selected, the ”Furious Five“: Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). Tigress looks like she might be able to do some serious damage, but the others are less than impressive. Mantis in particular seems to weigh about an ounce, tops. All five have been trained (for nearly forever, I gather) by the wise Shifu, who with Dustin Hoffman's voice is one of the more dimensional characters in a story that doesn't give the others a lot of depth. Anyway, it's up to the temple master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), an ancient turtle, to make the final selection, and he chooses -- yes, he chooses the hapless and pudgy Po.
The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single dumpling.
”Kung Fu Panda“ is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. For the kids, of course, all this stuff is much of a muchness, and here they go again.

Hotel Rwanda is a film about a man. It was based on a real story of a man who saved 1268 people’s lives in a madness genocidal, which happened in Rwanda, 1994. The film was directed by Terry George, . The main actor Don Cheadle is not handsome but just an ordinary man. You probably will even not recognize him when you happen to meet him on the street. He acted a hero based on a true story, a man who was as simple as he is, Paul Rusesabagina. Paul is a hero, a real man, while a hero and a real man doesn’t always need to be handsome or attractive in the appearance. There are two nations in Rwanda, hutu and tutsi. Paul is a hutu manager working for a 4 stars hotel on town. The hutu army planed a genocidal to clear out all the tutsi people in ruwanda. The tutsi people were suffering a madness blood bath. Over 800,000 people had been killed within 100 days. Paul has a tutsi wife, in order to protect his wife, children and other tutsis; he took them to hide in the hotel Rwanda. There are many white people from all over the world lived in this hotel so the hotel is the safest place in Rwanda to hide. There are 80 UN soldiers in Rwanda but only 4 guarded in the hotel and all of them are not allowed to shot. If we say that Paul just wanted to save his wife at the beginning, after recognized that there is no one would come to help the tutsis, Paul throw himself into the breach. He bribed the hutu general by wine and gold, used out every coin of his to purchase the refugees’ lives, ten, a hundred, 2 hundreds, 3 hundreds… more and more tutsi refugees flee to the hotel wishing to survive. To them, Paul is an angel who keeps a hope for those hopeless people in the calamity. His goodness his mercy is the key to be alive.
The hotel Rwanda is a dramatically and war film, ingeniously, there was almost no lens for slaughtering; however, the threatener of death was full filling with the whole movie. One of the tutsi asked Paul,
“Why they are so truculence?”
“ Hatred? Insanity? … I don’t know.”
The event is a humanitarianism disaster and Paul needs no reason to save the lives. When the world closed its eyes, he opened his arms. Facing a madness calamity and crazy crowds, the individual’s power is far from enough. However, Paul saved more than 1000 people’s lives. Although many Jews were caught, saving a person even one was better. In the book, when Dussel, a new number came to the attic, they were all willing to welcome him. Kids are terrified when TV shows are bloody and violent.
Kids are terrified to death when their teacher declares seriously that there will be a "very, very" important examination, and that will be their last chance to survive the class.

While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty.
How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodness is omnipotent, yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

Francis Bacon said in his essay, ‘Goodness, of all virtues and dignities of the mind, is the greatest, being the character of the Deity, and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing, no better than a kind of vermin.’
